Digit is the Perfect AMR Partner
The AMR tote load/unload process, utilizing a Mobile Manipulation Robot (MMR) like Digit, revolutionizes fulfillment operations with its seamless efficiency and precision. As the AMR arrives at the unload location, it initiates communication with our Arc management platform, streamlining the workflow. Arc then orchestrates Digit’s actions, ensuring optimal tote handling. Digit swiftly removes full totes from the AMR, transporting them to a conveyor for further processing. Digit then retrieves empty totes from a separate conveyor, replenishing the AMR for continued operation. This synchronized process minimizes downtime and maximizes throughput, enhancing overall productivity in fulfillment centers.
